Group Level Permissions are a way to provide dashboard access to people who need insight to specific segments of data within your organization. It's a helpful tool for providing focused insight into survey results or engagement metrics without overwhelming the user with too much data. Program Administrator or Dashboard Administrators have the ability to assign these permissions through the Configuration page.
Note: Before configuring Group Level Permissions, a user or group must be granted access to the Dashboard navigation tab. To learn more about assigning users Dashboard access, read our Help Center article here.
Group Level Permissions need to be enabled on a dashboard by an administrator at Brand Integrity before you can set up the permissions. To determine if Group Level Permissions have been set up, navigate to the Pages section of the Configuration page (left-hand menu) and select Dashboard. In the list that appears, if you see a Configure Group Level Permissions link, that means access is enabled.
To begin configuring access, click on the link and select the survey that you want to configure permissions for.
You'll then be taken to the Survey Group Report Permissions page. When permissions are set up, this page will display individuals and/or groups and the level of access they have within the respective dashboard. Click "Add Permissions" to create a new rule.
In the window that appears, first must select the individual(s) or group(s) for whom you are providing access. Next, specify all groups you'd like them to have access to in the box below. If you'd like someone to have access to all groups, select the "All Groups" check box.
Note: Make sure to include all groups you'd like that individual or group to see. For example, if you want someone to have access to each department within a specific location, you will need to give access to each department separately - giving access just to the location will only show an aggregate score of the entire location.
Once you've configured permissions as needed, click Save to ensure your settings are applied.
Your group level permissions are now configured and that individual or group of people will be granted dashboard access to just the identified groups.
