Shout outs are only available based on your program specifications.
While we recognize the value of strategic recognition and how they highlight impactful behaviors that demonstrate your company's core values, sometimes you just want to say thank you. That's where a Shout Out comes in.
A shout out is a short message that makes recognizing your peers quick and easy, whether it's for a job well done or to simply say thanks. To start a shout out, click on the Post button in the top right of the navigation links. If available for your company's program, you should see it listed on the pop-up window that appears on screen. Select Shout Out.
Add recipient(s) and write a description
Start typing the first or last name of the person you want to recognize into the Recipient field. Click on the person you want to recognize from the list, and repeat the process if you want to add more people to the post.
You can then write the content of your post in the description box. Be sure to identify the specific action or event that you are recognizing the recipient(s) for, but remember to keep it simple!
Add a title image
You can choose a title image for your post before submitting it.
You are now ready to submit your shout out! Hit Submit in either the top right or bottom left corner of the form page and your shout out will be published immediately to the Activity Feed.
Unlike peer recognition, a shout out does not need to be reviewed or published by a manager. However, everyone can still view, comment on, and share them!
