The Brand Integrity Platform offers users the ability to add images or videos within a recognition post. Sometimes adding a picture or video can enhance the story being told. It can also help increase the social aspects of the program.
Note: Please comply with your company's content guidelines and regulations when using this feature.
To add an image or photo within in a post, navigate to the post form.
Complete the form as normal.
Click the link to Add a Photo or Add a Video underneath the Description box.
This will open a pop up where you can browse for the image or video to add. For images, the file size limit is 3MB. For videos, it is 150MB.
Once selected, the image or video preview will appear on the post form underneath the description box. When uploading a video, it will take a few moments for the file to upload and process. (Processing happens behind the scenes, so you can continue completing your post and even submit it while the video is processing.)
If it is a video, you can click and play it right from the post form once processing is completed. Clicking the Remove link will delete the image or video from the post.
On the mobile app, adding a photo is simple and works much like it does on the desktop platform. From the post form, select Add a Photo. You may be asked to grant the app access to your phone's photo library, so you must accept or enable this feature in order to proceed.
Select an image from your existing library or choose to take a picture for the post by selecting the camera icon that appears on screen. Hit Done in the upper right corner once you select or take a picture. The image will appear in the Description box along with your text.
Video cannot be added through the mobile app.
Complete the post
Finish the form as usual and submit the post.
Once submitted, your manager will approve and publish the post. (Managers can remove images or videos if they deem them inappropriate or not relevant to the recognition.)
The published post will appear on the Activity Feed with the image or video embedded.
Note: The ability to add images, videos, or both depends on your program's configurations. Contact your program administrator for more information.
