Here is a list of the most frequently asked questions about using the Brand Integrity Platform.
Q: How can I find out more about what I can do on the Brand Integrity Platform?
Q: Is there an app? Can I use the platform on my phone?
A: Yes! The Brand Integrity Platform is now available as a mobile application for iPhone (iOS 9.3 or later) and Android (OS 4.4 or later). Click here for more information on how to download and log in to the mobile app.
Q: How do I reset my password?
Options may vary by program specifications
Q: I'm new and have never written a recognition post before. What do I say? How do I make sure it's well written?
A: It can be intimidating to write a recognition for someone for the first time (or even if it isn't your first time). The important pieces of information to include in a recognition post are the specific activity and how it impacts the company, customers, or your fellow employees. Sometimes it can help to ask yourself a few questions, for example, What specifically did the person do that stood out or that others can learn from? What is the benefit or potential benefit of the person taking these actions? Don't forget that the recipient's manager will have the chance to review the recognition before it goes live. Q: Can I edit a post after I submit it?
A: Yes. If a post has not been reviewed by a manager, you can make edits to it by selecting Edit Post on the Thank You page that appears after submission or by selecting Edit next to the post on your Activity in Progress section of your profile. Click here to learn more about editing a post.
Q: I submitted a recognition post, but it isn't on the Activity Feed. How long does it take for posts to appear?
A: As a reminder, when you submit a recognition, it goes to the recipient's manager for approval. We encourage managers to review and approve posts within three days; however, some situations may mean the approval process takes a little longer. For example, if the post you submitted was for a group of people, each individual's manager has to approve it and it may take more time. Managers receive an email reminder if they haven't approved a post in three days. If you are concerned about the amount of time it is taking for your post to get published, reach out to the manager or your Program Administrator for support.
Q: I can't find the person I want to recognize in the system. What do I do?
A: If an individual does not appear in the recipient field of the post form, a few things can be happening. In some instances, the person may be in your company's program but has an inactive account. This would remove the person from search results and not allow them to be recognized.
Additionally, this can also indicate that the individual doesn't have an account within your company's program. In many cases, user accounts are created as the information is provided to us by your program. If the information is not present or incorrect, this can delay account creation or cause account issues.
If you encounter this situation, you can reach out to your Program Administrator for support.
Q: How do I earn points in the platform?
Q: Why am I not getting points for all of the commenting and liking I'm doing?
A: Each program handles point distribution differently. To find out how points work in your company's program, click on your user icon on the menu bar and choose Points from the drop-down menu. Click the link at the top of the page, "How do I earn points?" This will open a pop-up window describing what types of activities earn points. Click here to view an article for more information on earning points.
Q: Why do my points on the People page not match my Lifetime Points?
A: Points on the People page default to showing points earned in the last 30 days. To see an accurate number of your Lifetime Points, navigate to your Profile.
Q: I was just asked to complete a survey at work. How do I know that what I'm saying is confidential?
A: Confidentiality is vitally important to the success of each survey and accurately measuring progress over time requires the honest feedback of employees. We understand that if anonymity isn't protected, then employees are less likely to share their honest opinions. Brand Integrity's business depends on us standing by our promise to protect confidentiality and if our clients asked for information on who said what, we would say no. We would even go as far as to lose a client who didn't take "no" for an answer than break a promise our company makes to all our clients and their employees. Click here to watch a video that discusses survey confidentiality in greater detail.
Q: Why does my dashboard report email cut off my list of people halfway through the alphabet?
A: Often times, the whole list of names can take up multiple pages and the report email will only show a screenshot of what you see when you set it up. To view a full list of names and information, go into the Dashboard report to view all of the data. The subscription should be used as an overview of data.
