While the names of the filters differ based on the report being viewed, filters function in the same way across all of the dashboards. The Brand Integrity Platform has two types of filters: slicing filters and drilling filters.
Slicing filters allow users to view data across multiple groups of the same type (e.g., Department, Location, etc.) based on the different category groups specified during platform setup. Slicing filters work best when applied to data tables, which allow for comparison across groups.
Drilling filters let users view data as it applies to one specific group, for example, the accounting or sales department, to see data specific to that group. Drilling filters work best when applied to graphic reports and dashboard metrics.
Note: For confidentiality purposes, the dashboard reports do not display data for groups with fewer than five people.
